Well I didn’t get down on my knees but I prayed
For all the people in the world who are afraid
For themselves or someone they hold dear
You know war ain’t the way to rid the world of fear
Duck and cover
Run and hide
It don’t really matter
What side
Whether you’re for or against the war
Peace is something we can all pray for
Let’s all go where we go to pray
For some peace in each and every day
For ourselves and those we hold dear
Together we’ll shine the light on fear.
